Jaclyn Van Fleet
Director of Operations
Born and raised in sunny Sarasota, Jaclyn is a true Florida native. Jaclyn attended Florida Gulf Coast University where she received her bachelors in Health Administration. She’s always had a passion for helping others and was able to do that for 7 years at medical offices, then she became a stay at home mom. As a Southern Helm business owner, Jaclyn gets to live out her ultimate dream of being a mompreneur and continue to use her passion of helping others. Jaclyn lives in Sarasota with her firefighter husband, Chris, their three children; Raelyn, Madison and Marlin and their dog, Penny. She enjoys boating, fishing, going to the beach, cruising, going to concerts and being with her family.
Michelle Hazeltine
Director of Finance
Michelle draws inspiration for our company from the picturesque landscapes of Southwest Florida. As the Owner & CFO of Hazeltine Nurseries Inc, she has a deep-rooted background in landscape design, native plant life, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Beyond her dedication to our brand, Michelle remains passionately engaged in philanthropic and community work. Her leadership extends to executive roles in education, fundraising, and supporting the local communities. She embodies the spirit of coastal living that defines Southern Helm Designs.
Megan Van Fleet
Director of Art
Megan is a Florida native who was born and raised in Parkland. After graduating High School she attended a community college studying Art. With her combined love for art and cooking she decided to attend Le Cordon Bleu in Miami where she graduated with an associates in Culinary Arts. After culinary school she worked in a bakery in Sarasota. Where she met her now husband, Richard. Richard introduced her to her new love and passion-being on the ocean and fishing. She has two daughters, Finley and Dorothy. When she is not painting and creating she is spending time with her family on the water near their home in Ft Myers.
